Cupil is, and has always been, a rather curious girl. Even living with her family in the mines to the north east of Eibon, this was true. The family toiled as workers in these mines, extracting rare magical metals, and much more easily than normal human (not mole like) workers could. Barely before she could stand though, Cupil was always climbing into things, and generaly poking her nose where is does not belong.

It soon became apparent though that her future would not lie with her family, in the mines that they had lived in for years. She just didn't have the body for it, or the temperment. Sneaking off, or just shirking her responsibilites. But in her free time she made these elaborate creations on paper. Drawing, writing, anything. Entire worlds came to life at her touch. So as she reached her 19th year though, her parents scrimped together what money they could, and sent her to the Eibon State University.

Now, she is in her sophmore year, studying illusion magics at Eibon U. She discovered though that she cannot build up a high mana reserve in her own body, and has to rely on talismans. And those cost money, money she doesn't have. But, she and her little familiar have a scheme. A scheme that will put them through college, and then some...
